A provisional programme is provided below. To book, please complete the form below and return either by email or by post (email is preferred). Details for payment are included on the form.
Dates and deadlines
The 2023 symposium will be held from Monday 14th to Thursday 17th August at Harlaxton Manor and will be convened by Caroline M. Barron and M. A. Michael. The deadline for residential bookings is Sunday 16th July and for non-residential bookings is Sunday 30th July.
PLEASE NOTE: If you wish to post your booking form, please do so by Monday 17th July for second class post and Monday 24th for first class post to ensure that it is received on time.
Information for PGRs and ECRs
Two Dobson Scholarships will be awarded to postgraduate students or ECRs (within two years of completing their PhD) to cover attendance fees for the symposium, accommodation and subsistence (including attendance at the conference dinner). The scholarships will be awarded taking into account the academic excellence of candidates and the relevance of the theme of the symposium to their research interests. The deadline for Dobson Scholarship applications is Friday 16th June 2023, and students and ECRs might wish to see our list of funding from other sources. Postgraduates and ECRs are also invited to participate in our poster competition to share their research with symposium delegates.
